Finish

Escape Sashlock function from the inside:

  • The latch and deadbolt are retracted simultaneously with a single operation of the lever handle
  • When unlocked only the latch is retracted
  • Deadbolt locked and unlocked by the cylinder key/cylinder turn
  • On a second turn the cylinder will retract the latchbolt

Escape Sashlock function from the outside:

  • Only the latch bolt is withdrawn by lever handle
  • Deadbolt locked and unlocked by the cylinder key/cylinder turn
  • On a second turn the cylinder will retract the latch head

For use in high frequency areas used by public or others with little incentive to exercise care and with a high chance of misuse.

  • European DIN style casing with 72mm centres and 60mm backset for use with Euro-profile cylinders
  • Heavily sprung latch follower allows use of heavy unsprung door furniture (weighing up to 930g per pair). Note: For BS EN 179 compliance only J-1000RRS01 and J1000RRU01 can be used.
